Betting Note: Betting amounts are based on confidence level. My normal betting amounts are $125, $250 & $500, although I will go as low as $62.50 and as high as $1,000 on occasion. My most common bet is $125 and if you classify that as 1 unit, then I have made a 667.93 unit profit from 2014-2020. (full stats)

E/W (Each-Way) bets means you split that amount. So if it is a $250 E/W bet, that means $125 on them to win, $125 on them to place (Usually in the Top 5).

Well the Tour Championship was what it was.

Dustin Johnson started at -10 and even though he wasn’t the best performer of the tournament, he was still able to get the win.

The best performer was Xander Schauffele who we had bet on. I never even thought to possibly look into 72 hole match betting for this one without factoring in the handicap. Anyway he was able to take it which was nice.

The other big star was Scottie Scheffler who performed extremely well and got in 5th place.

So it was a small return but I’ll take it.

Here’s the betting slip for that one:

Let’s get straight into this weeks betting tips – my apologies for the delay. I find I am doing tips on Tuesday nights now after studying the data all day. However I had a fantasy football draft last night and just getting in prep for the NFL in general left me very busy.

So I will just cover the Safeway Open here and be doing a more casual approach due to time constraints. On the bright side that means no social blocks this week 😉

Safeway Open 2020 Betting Tips:

Cameron Davis: $125 at 35/1. E/W. Two performances here with a 17th place a few years ago. Pops up on the metrics and is playing quite well right now. His drivign should be a factor here. His putting is solid right now although that is not that much of a factor here but could give him the edge.

And um – yeah sorry that is all I have this week. There’s a big list of possibilities but nothing that is sticking out to me at all.

How To Bet My E/W Bets:

  1. I list "To Win & E/W for my bets". E/W stands for each-way which means "to place" and isn't available for Americans.
  2. Instead, you will split your betting amount. Half on "To Win" and half on "Top 5".
  3. You can do that at Bovada - and get $250 free in the process
  4. Click here to register an account at Bovada
  5. Under the "PGA Golf" section you will see both "Winner" and "Top 5" bets at the top. Split your bet in half on those.
  6. You can deposit to Bovada via credit card.

Since 2014 I've been providing free golf tips on a weekly basis. Each tournament analysis, research and writing the betting tips takes over 10 hours per tournament. That doesn’t include watching each tournament and taking notes etc. It's why I do less and less non-PGA tips these days.

I’ve delivered a lot of big winners over the years, and all I ask is if you appreciate the work I put in and so I can continue to keep the tips free, a donation is highly recommended and much appreciated.

While I obviously make enough money from my golf bets, this sort of financial support would motivate me to write more content on here. This would include golf prop bets like first round leader, head vs head and much more plus daily fantasy golf articles. Cheers!
